Resort Operator in South America, which owns a chain of hotels and expedition lodges for travelers seeking wildlife viewing and safari experiences

PROJECT SCOPE

The company is successful in its current offerings, but wants to explore targeting a more premium, luxury travel clientele. The scope of the project includes researching the offerings of the company’s domestic competitors to understand the market landscape, as well as studying the products/services provided by luxury wildlife lodges in other parts of the world for potential inspirations. The team also conducted qualitative and quantitative research (focus groups/interviews, surveys) with staff members running the daily operations , as well as previous/current/prospective customers to identify need gaps and opportunity areas.

DELIVERABLES

A presentation and written report detailing the competitive landscape, the potential segments of customers/clientele that the company should target, recommendations on specific product/service offerings and operational adjustments that the company should implement, and a proposed go-to-market strategy.
